Saint Expeditus:

St. Expeditus is a Catholic saint and martyr.

He was commander of the Legion XII Fulminata of Rome in the time of the emperor Diocleciano, and fought against the barbarian towns.

According to tradition, St. Expeditus and his legion had to present battle in enemy territory, without provisions or water. Their exhausted soldiers did the same thing they had seen Christians do when faced with death: they raised their arms to heaven, asking for help from the God of Christians, whom they had heard said to be performing miracles.

The strange simultaneous gesture of all the legionaries surprised so much to his enemies that they stopped enough to allow him to recompose its rows and to be victorious.

After the battle, many soldiers became Christians, nevertheless St. Expeditus did not decide to become, postponing it day after day, until one day he decided to become a Christian and at that moment the Evil Spirit appeared to him in the form of a crow and shouted "Cras, cras, cras" (which in Latin means "tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow"), trying to prolong their indecision and avoid their conversion, but St. Expedito crushed the raven with a standing, shouting: "Hodie, hodie, hodie" (in Latin: "today, today, today")

Saint Expeditus was beheaded by order of the emperor in Melitene, along with Cajo, Gálatos, Hermágoras, Aristónico and Rufo.

Its celebration is celebrated the 19 of April.
