Current Stations of the Cross:
On Good Friday 1991, Pope John Paul II introduced a new form of devotion, called "Scriptural Way of the Cross", a version of the Way of the Cross which is much more consistent with the biblical stories of the New Testament; and Pope Benedict XVI approved, in 2007, this set of stations for meditation and public celebration.
The current Stations of the Cross begins with the Prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane and ends with the Resurrection of Christ:
- First Station: Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. (Mc 14, 32-36)

- Fifth Station: Jesus is judged by Pilate. (Lc 23, 1-4,23-24)
